In the framework of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi, in Rome, will host the international conference aimed at presenting the new cross-border cooperation project “Mediterranean Basin” which is part of the 2014-2020 European Neighborhood Policies within the ENI program. The event, hosted by the Sardinia Region, will be an opportunity to sum up on the result of the 2007-2013 period and on the upcoming challenges.
The program of the day will review strategies, objectives and priorities of the ENPI CBC Med Program and provide a glimpse into 95 different projects, among them ArcheoMedSites lead by the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and for Tourism through its Directorate General for the Landscape, Fine Arts, Contemporary Architecture and Arts.
The afternoon will see 2 different panels: one named “Environmental sustainability” and the other one “Socio economic development”. The second one will host Maria Grazia Bellisario as Archeomedsites’ lead partner and Michele Colavito as project manager. They will explain expected results about Archeonedsites project.
